There’s nothing we love more than working with a brilliant client, except perhaps being invited back to do it all again! We had an absolute blast providing pumpkin carving workshops and live carve for Skipton BID last year, so we were delighted when they asked us to return for their 2025 Halloween activities.
This year, our team, Jonathan and Amy, headed north to set up our pumpkin carving workshops in the beautiful location of Skipton’s Canal Basin.
A Monster Day of Free-Flowing Fun
Skipton BID had a fantastic day of activities planned, and we were thrilled to be a central part of the fun. This wasn’t a rigid, pre-booked session; it was a dynamic, free-flowing, drop-in workshop designed to handle the happy Halloween crowds.
The setup was brilliant:
- First, kids had to take part in the town’s exciting Monster Trail.
- Once they completed their monstrous quest, they gained entry to the pumpkin patch.
- Here, they collected their free pumpkin and came through to our workshop area to get creative!
The workshops ran from 10 am to 4 pm, and the entire day was filled with happy, smiling (and sometimes spooky-faced!) kids and their families. It was wonderful to see so many people getting involved in some hands-on, autumnal fun.
We were especially impressed by the skills on display. Some of the kids were such natural carvers that we even let them use some of our more advanced, professional tools to help bring their ambitious designs to life!
This year, we also debuted our new Halloween photo-op board, which was a massive hit. We loved seeing so many families grabbing a photo to remember their day.
