We were contacted by the Headteacher of Strong Close Nursery School asking for Sand sculpture workshops for a team building day for her staff.
On the workshop day, Jamie and Jonathan set off from our studio with a van full of sand, sculpting tools, and a fresh lesson plan for Strong Close staff to get stuck into.
Three large tables for the workshop were set up outside in the playground along with a smaller demonstration table.
All in all there were 34 nursery team members spread across the three tables. Once Jamie and Jonathan had taught the basic sculpting techniques the participants were ready to take on some more complicated sculptures. The workshop gave the team a great opportunity to work collaboratively in a fun and dynamic way.
Jamie and Jonathan received fantastic feedback from the participants and at the end of the workshop Helen the Head thanked them for such an engaging workshop.
