Summer sand sculptures at the Ridings Shopping Centre

It’s nice to travel with our jobs, but its also lovely when we get to work locally, so when Ridings Shopping Centre in Wakefield invited us to come and make some sculptures for them at the weekend, we were delighted.

We were there for two days, each day we made something new. The team comprised of Sand In Your Eye’s Jamie Wardley and Claire Jamieson (and bump).

We made a summer beach scene on day one and  Wakefield Cathedral on the final day. What a wonderful weekend it was doing what we love best….sculpting! Made all the better with the great staff at the centre.
