In April 2022, Jamie attended the Fully Charged Show in Farnborough to check out the latest in renewable energy and Electric Vehicle’s. The event was such a dream for Jamie, combining his passion for sustainability and his fun inner child, getting to sit in the converted electrical Delorian was a particular high point.
Jamie and Claire already had an EV that we use for the company but at the event they invested in another EV and leased a KIA from Drive Electric.
Jamie connected with the Fully Charged team and discussions started around us creating a HUGE Land art animation using Electric Vehicle’s.
Plans went into action and locations were chosen; the hope was to have the stunt take place before the Harrogate 2023 Fully Charged Show. Unfortunately, the Great Yorkshire weather stopped the stunt from taking place, something completely out of anyone’s control.
Instead we created a 50 Meter and art painting of the ‘Fully Charged Show’ logo at the Yorkshire Event Centre, just ahead of the opening of the show. This was used for promotion the promotion of the show via social media channels.
Our land art team included Jocasta, Peter and Dave with Jamie taking drone footage. It was a long and hard day as the lettering was HUGE, but the end result looked fabulous.
Our team nearly got locked overnight in the grounds, as Jamie may have got carried away with the drone shots. The security team even asked us if we had a tent as we would be spending the night if we didn’t get off ASAP, we packed up quickly and managed to get home to our own beds, Phew!
Dave and Jamie attended the Harrogate Fully Charged Show and like the year before it had an incredible amounts of fun filled and ingenious electrical ideas. We are so disappointed that our sensational stunt did not come off this time, but we hold out hope that this will still happen in the not too distant future, watch this space!
