After 6 weeks of moving freezers, building sand pits, painting and decorating, Sand In Your Eye Studio is finally open!

 

We celebrated with a launch party. BBC Look North filmed throughout the day as party prep went on around them including Jamie building a sand sculpture of an octopus, Tom making a rocket ice sculpture complete with a smoke machine! Claire and James doing some last minute finishing touches to the studio.

The launch party was a huge success, we even had an official opening by our local Mayor of Hebden Royd!

We have some huge thank you for everyone who has helped over the last 6 weeks to make this studio happen.
