This sand sculpture taster session, was the last of a calendar of sand sculpture courses of 2017. In our new indoor sand sculpture studio. It was a good one! First everyone got to grips with the basics of sand sculpture compaction and how to use the tools. Working together in teams everyone made arches, hand stacked sand and much more. Then the big build! The group decided they all wanted to have a go at faces, probably the most difficult thing to sculpt, but how amazing the results were. None of the participants had done sculpture before so we were really impressed with the wonderful creatures they all created, we even had a sand pumpkin!

These taster sessions are great to just have a go at doing something different and learning the basics of a new skill. We really recommend them for corporate team building sessions and stag and hen party activities, as everyone can work together to create something really cool.
