At this time of year, we are usually chatting with people about sand sculptures and beach events but when the Priory Cottages event venue contacted us for an ice sculpture, I was excited to get back in the freezer with the chainsaw.
They were planning a big birthday celebration and asked us for an abstract ice sculpture as a centre piece in their cocktail bar area. This was great to have the opportunity to make something a little bit different to the usual ice trails and displays we make around the Christmas period.
After a couple of days cooling off in -10 degrees, the sculpture was finished and then I took it to the venue where it sat wonderfully in the spectacularly decorated venue. Everything looked great and I left just before the guests arrived heading back to Bradford for a well deserved curry!
