Are you creative, enthusiastic and looking for something different?
At Sand In Your Eye we are currently looking for new faces to expand our freelance team. We are looking for sculptors, artists and workshop assistants. We are also looking for people with skill sets that will compliment our business. These may be photography, animation, film making, creative writing, legal, marketing, website development, experts in social media and labourers.
About us
We make sand, ice and pumpkin sculptures as well as giant sand drawings on location all across the UK. Please have a look at www.sandinyoureye.co.uk for examples of our work. Our work varies from commercial to work that raises social awareness.
Our office is based in Hebden Bridge with a workshop in Bradford from which our ice sculptures and spooktacular pumpkins often come to life. We are hoping to move everything over to Hebden as soon as we find suitable premises, so if any locals know anywhere please let us know!
Between times we are constantly innovating new techniques, skills and areas of our business. This is why we need people with a good mix of talents and skills to work with us.
About you
You would be working on a freelance basis with us. It would be seasonal and in the beginning on an ad hoc basis. Ideally you need to be flexible as to the days you are available to work with us, as work can be sporadic.
You may be working on events or in our workshop as a sculptor, sand drawer or workshop assistant. There are also other opportunities to work creatively in our office developing new innovation projects and complimenting our existing skills with new talents so that we can do and make wonderful things.
Travel to events across the UK and between our Hebden office and Bradford workshop may be required.
Most of all you need to be an enthusiastic, creative thinker, who would like to be part of something different!
If you are interested please send a CV and work examples if you have any to Claire@sandinyoureye.co.uk
